15 weeks into my third pregnancy I unfortunately experienced a miscarriage. Not only were we devastated, but I ended up hospitalized and required blood to bring my hemoglobin levels back up. After having this resource available to me and so appreciating the benefit it gave to me and my little family, I vowed to do my part to make sure that anyone else in my position would also have the available resources and have been a regular donator since then. Thank you Canadian Blood Services for allowing us the opportunity to hold a piece of heaven in our arms after such a devastating heartbreak.
