Partners for Life
Why join Partners for Life?
A single blood donation can make a lifesaving difference to someone in need.
Imagine the impact your organization can have when people work together as a team to support Canada’s Lifeline. Partners for Life member organizations are doing more than just committing to raising awareness and recruiting new donors. Their team’s efforts have a direct impact on patients in Canada and the families who love them.
Ways to join:
Group giving in honour
Many Partners for Life groups are started to support someone going through a difficult health journey, pay respects to someone who has passed away, or mark someone’s birthday or milestone. When your Partners for Life team gives in honour, you will bring people together for a common purpose with options to donate blood, donate plasma or make financial donations as a group to express compassion and admiration.
Give as a group to honour a:
- Memory — Honour the memory of someone special to your group by donating.
- Recipient — Pay it forward for friends or family members who received a blood product or are going through treatment by donating blood or plasma.
- Milestone — When you reach a donation milestone, we acknowledge your generous contributions with a token of appreciation. Make someone’s milestone donation even more special by joining them to donate blood or plasma as a group.
- Celebration — Celebrate someone’s birthday, anniversary or other special occasion by donating as a group. In lieu of gifts, this is a meaningful way to mark the occasion!
