Canadian Blood Services is committed to operating in an open and collaborative manner with Canadians and holds two open board meetings each year. Canadians are encouraged to attend and observe the Board of Directors as it conducts a typical meeting.
The most recent open board meeting was held on December 5, 2024, in Ottawa. The meeting was held in an in-person and virtual manner and was led by Dr. Brian Postl, Chair of the Board of Directors. Members of the public were able to submit an expression of interest to present to the board starting on October 16.
