When I emigrated from France in 2006 and wanted to give my blood, I was told: “ you can’t give your blood because of the mad cow from France!”. Then I travelled back to France to see my parents and tried to give blood there: “you can’t give your blood because you live in Canada!”. On and on since 2006 until late 2024, regulations gave changed and I can finally give my blood. Every 2 months: I need to catch up 20 years! Please donate!
