Hi! My name is Kayla and this is a little story on why I chose to donate each time I can!
On June 12th, 2023, my uncle lost his brother in an accident that involved a lady and him on his motorcycle. I wasn’t as close to him as my cousins were, but he was always there for family when they need him! Sadly, the lady was at fault for the accident but he did not make it to see that! He was only 52 years old when he lost his life. He was riding his bike into Casselman, ON from Moose Creeke. I knew right after his passing, I had to do something to be able to save someone’s life, but I could not come up with an idea until December 25th, 2023, that I’ll start to donate blood as of 2024! Now I am honouring my uncle’s brother by donating blood!
