On March 6th, 2025, we unfortunately lost my brother to a heroic battle with a rare form of cancer called “Rhabdomyosarcoma” at just 31 years old.
On November 8th (3 days after my 26th birthday) my brother went into cardiac arrest and was rushed to emergency, where we later found out the cancer has spread to his lungs and heart. This was the start of a long 4 month battle. We watched him go through many procedures and surgeries in hopes to buy us a little more time. One of which being, a blood transfusion. So, after my brother passed, I made a promise to myself and him, that every year I’d start donating blood in hopes to give someone else the gift of a little more time.
Nov 5th, my birthday, I decided that’s how I wanted to spend it. Donating blood and honouring him. ❤️
