Abbotsford plasma playoffs summer 2024 winner: Longboard Architectural

The results are in. Longboard Architectural team won the Partners for Life plasma playoffs this summer in Abbotsford.  

In summer 2023, the Partners for Life plasma playoffs were launched in Abbotsford, which invited local groups and businesses to participate in a friendly competition for who could secure the most plasma donations. In our second year we invited different community leaders to join this lifesaving competition. Mike Heppell, president of Longboard Architectural Products responded promptly to our call and introduced us to Tricia Harrison, Longboard’s community and event coordinator, who became its Partners for Life champion. She organized lunch and learns, weekly group donations, plasma awareness posts on social media, and weekly engagement strategies to keep all members engaged.  

Among this year's competitors were Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce, RBC Fraser Valley, and That Others Might Live/192 Construction Engineering Flight.  

We’re grateful to celebrate community leaders such as Longboard Architectural and all our partners, who inspire us through their giving spirit, enthusiasm, and generosity. We appreciate their commitment to saving lives and supporting our community during the competition and beyond. They are truly an example of an outstanding Partners for Life organization.
