Social media influencer Chris Hau becomes a blood donor activist

Chris Hau, a photographer, YouTuber and social media influencer with 213K followers, wanted to do something noble that he now calls “the most meaningful project of the year. On November 1, he brought 20 plus donors to the donor centre on Yonge & Bloor in Toronto. The majority of these were first time donors, photography buffs and social media influencers. Chris interviewed each donor after their donation and simply told them “You saved someone’s life today”. There is no easy way to put their smiles into words.

Young donors love the opportunity to network with their peers and the experience extends beyond the donor center. The 20 plus donors are already spreading the word in their circles.
